Lovran

Welcome to Lovran, the oldest settlement on the Opatija Riviera, with origins dating back to the 7th century. Named after the abundant laurel trees growing in the area, Lovran blends its distant past with later, refined influences. Developed from a small harbour, it still preserves a charming medieval old town that gradually opens toward the coast into cafés, villas, and gardens in a distinct Viennese style.
