Active holidays in Opatija

If you’re in the mood for a more energetic start, the surroundings of Opatija hide kilometers of picturesque nature. You can explore it every Saturday through Nordic walking led by licensed instructors. On forest trails such as the Milkmaid’s Path or the Green-Blue Trail to Ičići, your body may be working, but your eyes will rest on endless greenery.
If you’d rather enjoy views of the sea and Opatija’s landmarks, guided morning walks tailored to your fitness level are a great choice. With the beneficial effects of sea air, exercise becomes a true pleasure.

Paddle into the sunset

During the summer months, walking can be replaced with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The first step is a basic course available at several times throughout the summer. Once you feel at home on the board, you’ll be ready to join a guided sunset SUP tour.
